Peru 2020 Mission Trip

February 22, 2020 to March 01, 2020
Lima, Peru
Join us for a week in Lima, Peru, serving with Brazos Abiertos, led by REACH Partners Jordi and Ria Bosch. The trip will include the construction of a new classroom, which involves painting, flooring, plumbing, electricity and wood working. We will also work to expand current bathroom facilities. No specific building skills are required, just an attitude to learn, get dirty, and work hard! We will also have opportunities to serve moms and children who the school serves through activities and interaction. This Mission Trip is open to men and women 18 or over. Approximate trip cost is $1,500. A $50 deposit is required at signup.

Colombia 2020 Mission Trip

March 21, 2020 to March 29, 2020
Medellin, Colombia
Join us for a week in Medellin, Colombia, serving with 911 Life, led by REACH Partners Tom and Jen Atwater. The trip will include morning worship and devotional, training sessions throughout the week centered around topics like loving the unlovely and finding our identity in Jesus. We will have outreach programs to at-risk children and women who are part of 911 Life. We will also engage in street evangelism and work projects, such as painting and cleaning. This trip is open to students currently in 10th grade or higher and adults. Approximate trip cost is $1,500. A $50 deposit is required at signup.

Alaska 2020 Mission Trip

Alaska
Once a gold rush boomtown, Fairbanks is now considered the “Golden Heart of Alaska”; the last true frontier. Here, we will work to combat homelessness and be a part of spiritual healing to the community through construction and social initiatives. The trip is open to students currently in 8th grade or higher and adults. Approximate trip cost is $1,000. A $50 deposit is required at signup.

St Louis 2020 Mission Trip

July 12, 2020 to July 17, 2020
St. Louis
Your group will serve St. Louis in a variety of ways, often crossing racial and geographic lines. YouthWorks partners with a number of organizations to come alongside St. Louis’s homeless population, local children, and the elderly. You may find yourselves playing bingo, cooking meals, painting houses, shooting hoops, sorting clothes or spending time with community residents. In the evenings, you’ll host a well-attended community cookout. You’ll also engage in discussions around race and poverty from a Christian mindset. The trip is open to students currently in 8th grade or higher and adults. Approximate trip cost is $500. A $50 deposit is required at signup.

Quad Cities 2020 Mission Trip

July 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020
Quad Cities
This trip focuses on special training in ministering to immigrant families. We will have the opportunity to serve in various parts of the Quad Cities, partnering with organizations that deeply care about their community. Service opportunities include assisting with local youth programming, engaging with adults who have disabilities, and meeting basic needs through food pantries, community gardens, and clothing giveaways. The trip is open to students currently in 6th grade or higher and adults. Approximate trip cost is $390. A $50 deposit is required at signup.
